Centenary Cricket Breakfast 

Old Boys representing the KGS 1st XI from 1949 - 2023 celebrated the history of Knox Cricket over breakfast at Curagal on 10 February. 



Memories of Knox Cricket 

After a bacon & egg roll, and welcome from KGS Headmaster Scott James and OKGA President, Rob Johnson (OKG78), Bruce Wood OAM (OKG74) facilitated interviews with cricketers who have contributed to Knox Archives' Oral History program. 

Panellists included Roger FitzSimons (OKG62), Anthony Stuart (Current 1st XI coach), Chris Green (OKG11), Matt Nicholson (OKG92) and John Laurie (OKG52).    

Past Knox Council Chairmen, Peter Roach (OKG79) and Grahame Mapp AM. Grahame was a keen supporter of cricket at Knox and the Oval (and Scoreboard) at Curagul were named in his honour in 2009.  

After the panel discussion, Matt Nicholson (OKG92) met the 1st XI before they took to the field for their rain-delayed start.
