Farewell Julie Davis
Monday, 21 November 2022
It is with great regret we announce the retirement from the OKGA of Julie Davis, our Benevolence Manager of the last six years.

Julie joined the OKGA in 2016 when the program was in its infancy, and she has worked tirelessly ever since to develop the program and offer support and assistance to many Old Boys and their families.

Her knowledge, persistence and tenacity to gain beneficial outcomes for each Old Boy has been outstanding, and so appreciated by both the families involved and the OKGA Committee.

In her time here, Julie has supported, counselled, or advocated for over 70 separate individuals and their families. She has been able to achieve many positive outcomes and get Old Boys and their loved ones back on the road to recovery. She has been single-minded in her pursuit of equitable treatment from the many government agencies, each of which have their own barriers and challenges to navigate.

Julie is a true carer who generously shared her expertise and knowledge in support of the OKGA and the Old Boys for Old Boys Program and we wish her very well in her next chapter whatever that may hold.
