CAREER EDUCATION // Two Old Boys currently working as Associate Software Developers under WiseTech's Earn & Learn program, returned to the School this week to present to students in Years 11 and 12. David Sorrell (OKG22) and Mitch McKinstry (OKG23) shared their experience of combining full-time work as paid software developers, with part-time study of Computer Science at UTS. A representative of the WiseTech’s Student Engagement team explained to the aspiring computer scientists how to apply for the program, and answered lots of great questions from the students. WiseTech will be back on Tuesday 28 May to present on Careers in Software Development as part of the Knox Careers Night. This event is open to local students and their families. |
