The School invited more than 60 members of the Class of 2024 to attend an Award Assembly yesterday to recognise their inclusion on the HSC 2024 All-Round Academic Achievers list. 

Among this group were 23 young men who achieved a state ranking in an HSC course (in the top 10 or 20 depending on the number of candidates), including three accelerated students (Year 12, 2025), and seven with an ATAR of 99.95. 

After the Old Boys in attendance were presented with their awards from the School, William Firth and Rory Pattman spoke to the Senior students about their Knox experience and how they managed to achieve their exceptional results. Rory encouraged the students to engage with Old Boys as they approach their HSC "because they have been in your shoes." 

Harrison Cluff (OKG24) and Mr Nunan then spoke about the highs and lows, routines, habits and finding balance. Harrison acknowledged the care and support of his teachers, and the invaluable contribution of the Old Boy tutors. 

"Almost every night, we'd be getting everything we could from the tutors. They acted as our complete coaches."
