The positive impact of The Man Cave – a registered charity co-founded by Hunter Johnson (OKG08) - on the lives of young men was celebrated at an event hosted by Her Excellency The Honourable Sam Mostyn, Governor-General of Australia, at an event last week.

At the same event, Dan Repacholi MP, the Special Envoy for Men's Health, Senator David Pocock and Aaron Violi MP jointly launched the Parliamentary Friends of Healthy Masculinities group. According to the Parliament of Australia website, this group will "provide a non-partisan forum for parliamentarians to meet and interact with organisations such as Movember, the Man Cave, Healthy Male, on matters relating to men's mental and physical health, not only for the benefit of men, but also because it impacts the wellbeing of women, children, families, workplaces and communities."
