Dick Van Straalen (OKG62) was inducted into the International Surfboard Builders Hall Of Fame (ISBHOF) on 15 October, 2022. In the letter announcing his induction, co-founder of the Californian-based ISBHOF, Bob Bolen, congratulated Dick for his lifetime accomplishments in the industry. These accomplishments were also the subject of a 42-minute documentary by Greg Hughlin and John Charlton, released in 2020.
