Old Boys' Rugby Pre-Season
Thursday, 2 March 2023
With Knox Rugby Club recently confirming a three-way trial match against Old Iggies and Old Barker for 25 March, now is the time to start coming to training.

This year, Knox Rugby will field two grade teams, plus a Colts side. Training is on one night a week (Thursday) and the Club will most likely be competing in Division 3 alongside fellow old boys’ clubs.

“Exciting times ahead as we rekindle old rivalries! Come and get amongst it as we bring back the fun!” – Oscar Alcock (OKG14), President, Knox Rugby Club

The next training session will be held at Forsyth Park in Neutral Bay on 9 March

Knox Rugby Club’s pre-season preparation is underway. We are currently training on Thursday nights at Forsyth Park (Upper) in Neutral Bay, starting at 6.45pm. Our focus is on playing touch, a fun way to get everyone’s fitness up to speed and get a sweat on after the silly season. We encourage anyone who is keen to play this year to come and have a run. There are also cold beers and soft drinks supplied after the sessions.

The “catch cry” of Season 2023 is #bringbackthefun, the focus of which includes playing in a lower division, with one training session a week and having a great time with your mates. Jump on board!

Oscar Alcock (OKG14), Knox Rugby Club President
