Careers Insight Evening
Friday, 3 March 2023
On Monday, 27 February, forty four Old Boys joined two current Knox parents to share their career experience at the Knox/OKGA Careers Insight Evening. With more than 800 students (Years 9-12) and parents in attendance, each speaker presented to three different groups over the course of the evening detailing their career  and workplace experience within their industry. We had 22 industries represented on the night.

Following a welcome from Headmaster Scott James, and an introduction from OKGA President, Rob Johnson (OKG78), Mark Truskett (OKG08) delivered a keynote to provide his insights into workforce trends and advice for school leavers as they enter the labour market.

The event was the first held in this format since 2019. We were pleased to expand the choice of industries available (from 14 at the inaugural event), and almost double the number of Old Boy presenters.
