With Robert Pether (OKG92) having been in jail now for 759 days and counting, his wife, Desree recently returned to Australia to speak with a number of media outlets to call for his immediate release. It is also more than a year since the United Nation’s Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found the imprisonment of Robert, and his Egyptian colleague, to be arbitrary and in contravention of international law.
