Toby Hammerman (OKG63) recently led a group of Year 10 Religion and History Students through the Sydney Jewish Museum. Toby, the son of a Holocaust survivor, has been volunteering at the Museum two days a week for more than 10 years.

The School conducts regular excursions to the Museum, and Toby has been able to lead tours with Knox students on a number of occasions.

“I am very proud that the School is a return visitor. The boys are always interested, well prepared and extremely respectful.”

Toby is now also working to revitalise school visits to The Great Synagogue in Elizabeth Street, where he is a Board member. He looks forward to welcoming Knox students to the heritage building in the future.
