Karate: Australian Lightweight Champion

Two Old Boys from the Class of 2022, Sempai Josh Darley and Trent Lim competed in the Kempo Ryu Karate Championships on Sunday 17 March (Full Contact Open Adult Lightweight Division). According to Kyokushin International Martial Arts Australia (KIMAA), Sempai Josh dominated the Adult Lightweight Division at the Championships, winning first place, while Trent gave great gusto in each of his two fights. Meanwhile, KIMAA Instructor Sensei Alex Lloyd (OKG09) participated in the KIMAA Turramurra (Honbu) Dojo’s senior grading last weekend, and he was awarded 4th Dan in Kyokushin Karate.
