Tall tales and true from the legendary past? This one is definitely TRUE, and it is the story of one of our own, John Baker (OKG68). This is a ripper of a yarn, a book I couldn't put down. As the saying goes, there's something in it for everyone, a heady mix of culture, history, adventure and a teeny bit of romance, all underpinned by an extraordinary treasure hunt. The night will be a wonderful opportunity to bring the broader Knox community together to hear from John in an informal setting, interviewed by my mate, Scott Whitmont (OKG78). Join us as we celebrate one of our Old Boy authors who would freely admit that publishing a best seller was never something he ever imagined he would do; but opportunity, serendipity and persistence paved the way for this amazing adventure of a lifetime.
